One of the main aims of the College of Pharmacy (COP) mentorship program is to expose our students to the pharmacy profession at an early stage and provide them with valuable insights into the diverse opportunities within the pharmacy profession. In this regard, we aim to introduce University Preparatory Program (UPP) students to various aspects of the pharmacy world to inspire and guide them in exploring potential career paths. To achieve this, a series of field visits has been planned, encompassing community pharmacies, hospitals, pharmaceutical industries, pharmaceutical companies, insurance companies, and more. These visits are designed to provide students with firsthand exposure to real-world pharmacy operations, help them understand the roles and responsibilities of pharmacists in different sectors, and foster informed decision-making about their future careers. This well-rounded approach ensures students gain a comprehensive understanding of the dynamic and evolving nature of the pharmacy field.
